Fleedom oil for dogs.

Fleedom was the first product we sold at Cricklewood Herbs. I began making this oil for my German Shepherd companion Gus. See "About Us." If your dog is biting the base of his/her tail, you can be fairly sure he/she is being bitten by fleas. This can set up an allergy and make your companion miserable. Fleedom oil contains herbs traditionally used to soothe inflammation and itching caused by fleas. Gently rub a small amount into the skin at the base of your dog's tail as often as necessary. Most animals love a gentle massage and I'm sure your companion will love not only the soothing oil but also your healing hands!
This is an oil so watch your furniture after application if your dog is an inside dog.
Fleedom contains small amounts of the herb Pennyroyal. While the amounts are small we advise you not to apply Fleedom to pregnant animals.

Petlix Skin Soothing Butter

Sheryll has found a way of administering herbs and their therapeutic properties to animals in a natural way; no tablets, no injections, just let them do the work by licking the product off their fur/ hair/ skin. This butter contains 5 wonderful herbs in a dairy and animal fat free base. The herbs soothe the skin and tone and cleanse the internal organs in one application. Add 1 teaspoon twice daily to paws or legs and allow pet to lick the butter.

Kennel and Bedding Insect Repellent

This kennel and bedding spray incorporates Witch Hazel and Rose Geranium essential oil. Rose Geranium Essential oil is very effective for repelling ticks and a couple of drops on your pet's collar will help to repel these nasties. Great for those Summer months. Comes in a spray mist bottle.

Animalix Pelletable supplementary food for poultry.

Pelletable is made from all natural foods that you can add to your poultry's pellets to keep your birds in good condition. Made with molasses, garlic, apple cider vinegar and wormwood. Comes with a pump action dispenser. Pump as much as you like onto pellets and allow to soak in. Then feed pellets to your birds.

I recently used Pelletable to drench my son's calf club lamb after finding worms in her poos. She is much happier and content now and there is no sign of worms.


This product contains no preservatives so store cold to prevent fermentation.

Scale Ointment for Poultry

In times past, people rubbed used oil on the legs of poultry as oil suffocates the mites that bury in under the scale. Based on the same principle, this ointment is made by wild crafting several herbs and incorporating them into an ointment that will smother the mites. Apply liberally to scales on legs avoiding feathers. Beeswax, cold pressed vegetable oil, pennyroyal essential oil neem oil and wild crafted herbs.

Diatomaceous Earth for Pets and Poultry.

Cricklewood Herbs is a stockist for Diatomaceous Earth.
This is a naturally occuring fine powder which when dusted on your pet and rubbed into the hair or fur will help to dessicate fleas, ticks and lice. It comes in a talcum powder shaker for easy application. This Earth is food grade and safe when ingested.

Diatomaceous Earth can also be dusted directly on birds or wherever they dust bathe.
also great for the garden to deter slugs and snails.
When applyng any fine powder care must be taken not to breathe it in.
